This sweet Kemp's Ridley sea turtle is carved from a solid inch thick slab of clear soft maple. Not much figuring in the wood, making it a lovely board. This board has a small cord so it can be hung for display when not being used. Finished with walnut oil and beeswax. The board measures 11" from flipper to flipper and 13" from nose to tail. All proceeds from sale of this board (and I won't be deducting the cost of wood on this one) will be donated to National Marine Life Center so they can rescue this years cold stunned turtles.
