This Bald Eagle feather is carved from Aspen with Wenge accents to resemble an Eagle feather that fell at my feet while I was hiking along the CT river. I snapped a photo of that feather and came to the shop to carve its likeness. It is set into a thick solid slab of American Cherry and finished with boiled linseed and walnut oil. This board measures 14” by 11”. All proceeds go to A Place Called Hope raptor rehab in Killingworth CT.
