Sometimes I just want to carve a shark. we had a bad, bad night in the ER , lost a young patient and I wanted to kick a hole in a wall. I didn't, but I did go to the shop, pushed all the projects aside and gave myself the day to carve whatever I wanted. That turned out to be this little shark. I like blues because they always have some weirdo expression on their faces. Hard not to love them.
This one is carved from Blue Pine and Aspen and set into a thick slab of highly figured Ambrosia Maple. It is finished with food grade walnut oil and beeswax and measures 11" by 13".
